English Language Challenges

About my experience learning English at university, it has been quite varied, when I first enter, the English was taught differently, with a focus more in technicalities, in order to be more useful for the  academic use, the idea was good, but the difference from when we learn it to when we use it, it made him feel a bit unnecessary, in addition the focus on more the academic field and technicalities, did not fix I think the biggest problem of the students nowadays, which is not knowing how to speak English fluently. Now with this system, which makes us constantly practice pronunciation, I feel we are progressing more, because it also takes the language learning to a more current, more real context. But we are still far from finishing the pending task regarding English

A system that I find interesting and effective is the use of blogs, firstly because it brings the learning of English to a more current context, with the use of more technologies, which facilitate the self-learning interests and the accessibility of those who are learning.

My english needs lot of improve, mainly the pronunciation and conjugation, are factors that always there, so frankly i think after university i definitely will take a extra english course.

Outside the English classroom, the common uses for what has been learned, go from the academic to the personal leisure. either having to read papers that ask for certain subjects or reading scientific articles, in order to prepare seminars or presentations. Until the use of English in my personal space, whether reading comics or manga only in English, as well as video games, mainly RPGs that are only available in English, as well as TV series or Netflix, the point is to try to expand the vocabulary and go day by day expanding a little more knowledge in English.

Changes to my study programme

Now looking to the future, even if it is a good education they give us, we are still far from international standards, or be a first world university.If I had to give a personal opinion concerning what things change, I would definitely start with Faculty facilities (buildings and infrastructure), it is not something unknown, that as infrastructure our faculty has always suffered, perhaps now it is not as much as previous years and the comforts today exist unlike what you tell the stories of previous years, but even so it is not possible that for the year that we are, we still do not have a library according to the number of students present, nor a cafeteria that can receive at least half of the students and we must use facilities of other faculties or eat at fresh air. In summer it is not the problem, but when the rains arrive, the little space becomes more visible than ever. About Workload, length of studies and Teaching methods, The first two topics are the most important and in part they are influenced by the 3, many professors of this faculty are very good scientists and have a knowledge that we are far from achieving, but in terms of teaching, it would not be wrong to take them to learn a little teaching methods and put a little in the position of us, we are not experts in their topics nor do we have all the time in the world for their academic branches. About the workload is well known, that expectations exceed the reality of each person, and there are times when one has to prioritize one branch over another or even prioritize loved ones to devote time to studies, it is important to Keep in mind, The extracurricular workload should be more realistic than it is today, because when the person passes a limit, the problems and diseases begin, especially we have a bad mental health awareness, and finally about the use of technology and The curriculum (the subjects you have to study), i think it's the more accurate change, that has been made with the curricular innovation, some classes they have become more interactive , with the use of applications like kahoot and the change made in the subjects of study, the order of they teach us, and the inclusion of new subjects as the removal of some obsolete themes. They have managed to position the curriculum, to a context more in line with these times, according to the demands of current work fields.

What is your opinion about the Chilean politicians?

In my opinion, we have much to do, to be really proud of ourselves in relation to our way to communicate with politicians, It is often believed that politicians represent us, but in the last time we have seen they only monitor their own personal interests, leaving aside the common citizen who chose them and accepting that they exist only when it is convenient or when there is a next election

What is your opinion about violence on television?

Violence on television has always been a controversial issue, but if one thing is certain, it is that prohibition instead of education does not help at all, because in the end, those who are not able to understand the difference between the fictional and the Real, they will not be affected by punishment or prohibition measures, finally this double current standard is always present, where when it suits the TV channel, violence is punished, but when sales and ratings are excellent the subject is completely omitted .

What is your opinion about buying instead of adopting pets?

People have always been carried away by a new pet, for what reasons? because she is tender, friendly, es not bother, you do not take her out for a walk, etc. But as soon as it grows, all that magic that it had, disappears and that is where responsible pet ownership becomes important and that is where a lot of it fails and then we have abandoned pets in different parts. On the other hand, those who adopt, give a second chance to those poor animals, that what they give you most is gratitude, and fidelity. Like many things it is lack of education what is important and should teach them or at least consult future owners about responsible pet ownership.

What is your opinion about recycling?

in this country at least , recycling is in diapers, it's not something bad, but still people think that recycling is that easy, how to take everything he says recyclable and take it to a container that says recycling, educating is important as in many other topics, and encouraging people to recycle, it does not make sense to leave things to a recycling point in your community and that the managers do not care to go and pick them up either.

From cartoons, animes to TV series

To begin, between The cartoon, anime, or TV series, I would always choose over these anime, I had to choose a specific show, I could be thinking about it all day and maybe I would not get the answer, I'm not a full time fan, but if I take advantage of my free time, like going back to my house, (which took 1 hour and 30 minutes) but going back to the subject, if I had to choose a specific anime, maybe I would be hesitant between "Fullmetal Alchemist (the first one and Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood)" and "Neon Genesis Evangelion"

Unfortunately due to time and work issues, I did not watch much television with my parents, it was more what I could see with my sister what I enjoyed. Your New Job

    Talking about an ideal job, i think i don't have one yet, but if i have to choose probably it be something related about human psychology or maybe chef, even writer, if i can combine all of this it will perfect, coming back to reality, if we talk about the career that I'm studying, an ideal job would be to be in clinical pharmacy, It is not a well-known area in this country and it's very difficult,
however i think, if i have the courage and the capacity, maybe i will make it true, this area give you a more real approach to the interactions that have a patient with a drug, with all the diseases that this patient brings with himself.

If I achieve this goal, I would like to travel around the world, learning about new medicines and treatments, about the different types of people that inhabit this world, unfortunately this must be done inside, for obvious reasons, but it is not something that discourages me, the point is to leave this country, learn new things and then formed a broad knowledge to bring them back and teach new generations, about the salary, I have never imported much absurd or high amounts of money, while I have to live a quiet life and help my relatives who need it, I give for paid.I obviously, if I travel the world, I took advantage of knowing beautiful places.

About pets, love and friendship

Since I was a child, there has always been a pet in my life, sometimes mine, sometimes from a relative or acquaintance, but always been in contact with a pet, I can not tell. I loved them all equally, but the time I enjoyed with them, even if it was short, was good. Now I'm going to talk about some of them. and I'm going to start with the first pet I remember a white rabbit.

I do not remember exactly is name, but definitely it was my first pet, how he appeared i don't know, but he was perfect, his ears, his hair and his beautiful eyes, he even escaped in the nights of his house to sleep with me. Eventually, the passage of time separates us, but it is always present in my memory.

From then on, maybe I did not have any pet of my own for a long time, but many times we took care of my family's pets, so I never lost contact with animals. Until about 5 years ago, when we adopted a dog in my family, it was a beagle.

Restless, energetic, shy, innocent, a mixture of emotions define him, he came from a family that unfortunately could not give him the attention he required and prioritized his happiness before his, since he arrived, he soon adapted and won the heart of all those who know him, about his name, there is a story, as I was going to be in charge of him, they gave me the privilege of choosing his name, but I could not decide, then I started to try different names, one week was loki, the next was jimmy, the next was floffy, and the theme continued for several weeks, one day my family told me to decide, that my poor pet was confused with so many changes name, then I think, no matter how simple it seems, I'll call it Mr. Beagle. My Best Holydays so far

Some years ago, I used to go to the countryside of Talca, normally i spent weeks in a holiday resort called "Valshi" is located in Kilometer 58 Route Pehuenche International Pass, Paso Nevado, San Clemente, Region of Maule,Chile.

The place in particular, in that time i went, was also a very interesting because was close to the lake "Colbun", it was a beautiful lake, with many things to do, enjoyable landscapes and the local fauna was worthy the time to admire.

So returning to the beginning, I enjoyed the best holidays until now in that place, because it was not the place in specific, if not what was around this place,a pool,lot of grass where to nap, interestings hills that calls you to explore, walking trails, the lake "colbún", awesome nature, rivers, everthing you need to escape from the city and her bad things.  I went with my all family and still fells that i went with few, (i mean it was like 10 to 12 people), it was so many things to choose  to do, when the time runs out, three weeks feels nothing. As far i remember, i haven't a better memory from other holidays compare with these, the time has pass, family has gone, but this memories i care most, and i cant go to many times to the country side, beacuse i am  now alergic to most nature.
